Hey, my name is Darrell Burnett Jr. stage name is St. Tru
I would like to thank you guys once again a lot of you who took the time out of your time on vacation to give me your time and support. I'm very grateful.
Bringing awareness to domestic violence and the missing is important to me because my mother Patrina Butler of East St. Louis , IL has been missing since jan 17,2013 almost a decade later. And unfortunately because she was black and the area were we from she only got 5 seconds on the news and no attention we couldn't get no help funding but the complete opposite support for fair skin women who get all the funding and support. The support of law enforcement and local officials were minimal from federal all the way down to city law enforcement strung the family around for a whole year detectives didn't do anything , but can raise money to get elected and political gains but this is America where race ,and class ,means more than doing the right thing for people of all backgrounds. I don't care what type of person, what class of person ,what race, thats somebody's mother , aunt, cousin , daughter, spouse , friend that need the same support when someone comes up missing it just isn't right how she and so many women come up missing. Keeping her name bright and so many other forgotten souls bright is the only thing I can do.
